Aim of the workshop
This workshop is part of the activities of DFG priority programme SPP 1590 "". The idea is to assemble SPP 1590 members, leading experts in the field and guests from "outside SPP 1590" for a two-day meeting to discuss recent advances and perspectives in multiple and simultaneous multiple merger coalescent theory, including in particular the currently rapidly expanding field of applications in population genetics.
Main invited speakers
Matthias Birkner (JGU Mainz), (TU Berlin).
The workshop is open to all SPP 1590 members. Limited participation available also for external participants. However, registration is mandatory, also for SPP members. Please send an e-mail to Stephanie Grün (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you wish to participate and also indicate (with title and abstract) if you wish to give a talk. There will be no registration fee, but perhaps we might ask for a contribution towards the catering by external participants.
